Samyang Chacharoni Stir Noodle?

Every time i went to the supermarket, i'll make sure to search and see if the SamYang Jajangmyeon available. Unfortunately, it still not available yet. However, same logo of samyang company, there is one look like jajangmyeon but on the package it says 'Chacharoni". Now this is confusing me. Is Jajangmyeon = Chacharoni?

Despite from the name, why is this package contain so much of English and Chinese words. Unlike the other popular's Samyang's product (just Korean words). i wonder, is this the fake brand or something imitate the Samyang's brand? Googling it, it seems is an old version of Samyang's product. Huh, i guess they made it internationally so that everyone can understand what the package said.

For an instant noodles, i am grateful that they provide this little flakes which there is something to chew or bite with. Not just plain old noodle and sauce.

I had jajangmyeon before, it was from a delivery service (I forgot what the restaurant is). It was potato-ey (like a stew potato cube with back soy bean paste) and gooey. Not a fan tho. It feels so gloopy. I thought maybe is just that this restaurant serve ike this. Maybe the other may different. I am open to all the food no matter good or bad. Once i have tasted, i didn't like it, just try to avoid next time.

This is not bad but definitely not the top in my heart. You can taste the flavor of black soy bean with some little vege there. It's quite taste good in my opinion. But, not the the whole noodle alone. Maybe i just don't like the gloopy taste. Half bowl is decent for me but the next half probably needed to eat something with to get rid of the gloopy taste. Just a change of flavor and thus, i find that Kimchi is the perfect match with this type of noodle. Sour and spicy from the kimchi tend to neutralize the gloopy taste from the black soy bean paste.

Overall:
Taste: 6/10
Repurchase: Maybe not
