A Movie Snack Bowl

Finding some nice movie in a cozy weather is just a great way to relax and being lazy around. A bag of chips would be great munching along while watching the movie.  And somehow i got a bag of chip which i bought it a few days ago. Although it is not a popcorn, but corn chips works too. Nah Ah~ not the corn chips alone but an upgrade version.  Ingredients: A bag of corn chips 1/4 chicken breast 1 tomato 1 small red onion 1/2 lime A bottle / can sugar-free carbonated drink *Just change whatever ingredient you want like avocado would be great. Steps: 1. Prepare a bag of chips to a plate. (I just eat half. ) 2. Dice the chicken breast, cook it with some salt and pepper. Once done, put it on the chips. (I personally don't like raw onion too much, so i dice the half of onion and cook it with the chicken breast.) 3. Dice the onion, soak in cold water to remove the spiciness. Dice the tomato. Take both of them and put it on top of ...

Hey everyone, another cooking alone time. I saw those one-pot spaghetti videos a few weeks ago and it quite simple to prepare with. In the weekend, I don't know what to eat and so lazy to go out, so I ah.. borrow the method and make my own lunch with just a single pan. My version is kinda bold taste since I make it as simple as I can so if you are a lazy person just like me or you have only a few ingredients I guess you can try it out?  Recipe: 1person recipe 3-4 mini hot dog/ sausage (or switch to ground chicken) 1 ripe chop tomato a handful of frozen mixed vegetable (defrost) 1/3 chop onion  2 cloves of garlic minced a handful of chop Pleurotus Eryngii (a kind of mushroom) 1 person serve spaghetti 3tbsp tomato puree salt and pepper 1 1/2 cup water 1. No Oven Chocolate Chip Cookie [Cooking Alone]

There are two reasons i make this recipe, first, my brother had bought a souvenir from Vietnam - the famous Vietnamese Coffee set. So in order to try it out, i want to make something sweet to match it with the bitterness from the coffee. Second, I know Valentine's day is around the corner, every girl is been busing prepare chocolate for her boyfriend. Well, I'm not. You know why. So, I have come out with a recipe that is simple to prepare with. Even a single person can prepare and eat it he/herself and that is one person serving chocolate chip cookie in a pan, no oven required. Recipe: 2 tbsp melted salted butter (if using unsalted, add a pinch of salt) 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar (depend on how sweet you want) 4 tbsp all-purpose flour 1/8tsp baking powder 1/8tsp baking soda 2-3 tbsp chocolate chips (roughly estimate) Steps: 1. Mix sugar and melted butter. Mix the sugar while the butter is still hot/warm. 2....

Korean Corn Dog [Cooking Alone]

Hu... finally get some time to upload this post. I had cooked myself a Korean Corn dog last Sunday and didn't have the time to post it out. And here it is the 2nd post of  'Cooking Alone' series. I've been seeing a lot of Japanese variety recently, one or two of them have been introduced the Korean Corn Dog was a trend to them right now. Also, you can see them appear on the Instagram or Youtube mukbang video. I have tried to make myself one, and it is good. Last time, I use uncooked fried potato as my corn dog coating but it is out of stock in my fridge. So instead, I use bread crumbs. Ingredients: 50g bread flour 13g glutinous rice flour 1/2tsp sugar a pinch of salt 1/4tsp yeast 1/2tsp vegetable oil 45ml water  hot dog cheese bread crumbs Steps: 1. Mix all the ingredient together and use a spatula to stir and knead to form a dough like for 5min. 2. Cover with cling wrap and leave it to room temperature for 30mi...

Frying Pan Cake Log [Cooking Alone]

Is CHRISTMAS TIME!!! Although I'm celebrating with myself. Maybe not 'celebrating', it just me who has a sweet tooth and eager to crave some dessert. And, I am lazy to bake a cake as it just me who eat it and using a big oven for just a small cake. Waste electricity. Therefore, I came out this idea which, not using the oven but frying pan to do so. You know, like a fluffy pancake. I am sure somewhere out there, there is someone already know how to make a cake out of a frying pan. I could use their references. Nonetheless, let's start making this.  Ingredients: 1 egg yolk 1tsp vegetable oil 1tbsp milk 3tbsp low flour 1/2tsp matcha powder 1 egg white 3tbsp granulated sugar Steps: 1. Prepare aluminum foil and parchment paper on the frying pan. (Avoid sticking) *Not sure the aluminum is necessary but... I don't know, experiment right?? Hee...   2. Mix the oil to the yolk, then the milk. 3. Sift in the flou...
