Lunchbox Cake (No Egg Microwave Chocolate Cake- Halloween Edition)

Ever see a lunchbox cake anywhere on IG, FB, or Youtube? I bet you do. It is small, pretty, and has a simple pipping design. It's been triggering me a while. Most of the recipes using sponge cake as a base. As the laziest person I am, I'm thinking about using microwave cake. Simple, easy, and the fastest way to get a cake. Normally it will be a 4-inches cake, but in my house, I try my best to find the smallest microwavable container I can. There isn't much that I can share in this 'Lunchbox Cake' Just my No Egg Microwave Chocolate Cake recipe and some leftover cream and chocolate ganache that I experiment in another dessert (which will update in the future once I have my free time). Just in case for reference, I share the 'Not' exact amount of ingredients and steps to this lunchbox cake. Ingredients: Microwave Chocolate cake ( https://yuufooddiary.blogspot.com/2020/10/no-egg-microwave-chocolate-cake.html ) 100ml whipping cream 60g cream cheese 2tbsp condense...

No Egg Microwave Chocolate Cake

I've been tried to make microwave cake a lot when I feel to eat one. But most of the time, I just go with my gut and opt-out of the measuring thing. Of course, nearly 98% came out the either dense or chewy texture.  Then one day, I saw a Youtube video and I follow the recipe. To be honest, it came out good but the texture is just not what I prefer, it like kinda too moist for me. So by using the recipe given, I try to change the recipe a little by little, and finally, I come out with a recipe where it meets my desire preference. It is a Chocolate cake but tries not to do much change because I have tried to change the liquid to either banana or yogurt but it didn't come out with a cakey texture but rather a chewy texture. Of course, if you want to experiment go for it. It will be better to test out and experiment with yourself to meet your desired preference(like me). Below is the recipe with no egg microwave chocolate cake. Ingredients: Square Glassware 11.5cmX11.5cmX5.5cm  Pa...

No Oven Chocolate Chip Cookie [Cooking Alone]

There are two reasons i make this recipe, first, my brother had bought a souvenir from Vietnam - the famous Vietnamese Coffee set. So in order to try it out, i want to make something sweet to match it with the bitterness from the coffee. Second, I know Valentine's day is around the corner, every girl is been busing prepare chocolate for her boyfriend. Well, I'm not. You know why. So, I have come out with a recipe that is simple to prepare with. Even a single person can prepare and eat it he/herself and that is one person serving chocolate chip cookie in a pan, no oven required. Recipe: 2 tbsp melted salted butter (if using unsalted, add a pinch of salt) 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar (depend on how sweet you want) 4 tbsp all-purpose flour 1/8tsp baking powder 1/8tsp baking soda 2-3 tbsp chocolate chips (roughly estimate) Steps: 1. Mix sugar and melted butter. Mix the sugar while the butter is still hot/warm. 2....

Crinkle Top Fudge Brownie / Chocolate Brownies Kedut

It's been a while to make a such fudgy, chocolatey cake. Sometimes, Tasty video pops out their brownie video on Youtube out of nowhere.  Then, I tried to follow the recipe 'by half' (since the portion is quite too much for me) and... it was a fail. Maybe I should follow the exact recipe huh. I tried a few recipes before, all of them failed. They turn out cake like and not even a fudge or crack brownie.  As I keep on trying on modifying the recipe. And today, I can say I succeed? I guess?  There is crack, very fudgy but still a bit cake like. But overall I am satisfied.  Ingredients: 185g dark chocolate compound 100g salted butter 120g brown sugar 30g castor sugar 2 eggs 80g all-purpose flour 25g cocoa powder 1tsp coffee powder + 1tsp hot water (optional) Steps: 1. Preheat oven to 180 °C.  2. Use double boiler method to melt the dark chocolate compound + butter. Set aside. 3.Mixe both s...

Kit Kat Mcflurry & Taro Pie

I, finally have a free time to visit McD for Kit Kat Mcflurry. I thought I was too late to give it a taste as it pretty launched long ago. I think? I'm giving a luck and passing through McD. And yes! I saw it on the menu, and they still not yet stick the 'Sold Out' sticker.  It looks not that good but it tastes good. (I don't know why, but I think they give me the ice-cream was slightly melting.) It is simple, a vanilla ice-cream drizzled with chocolate sauce, then add some kit kat bites/balls? on it.  It may a little boring to eat chocolate sundae (if you take out the Kit Kat Balls) but hey, something crunchy in it, doesn't it make the overall taste to be more interesting? And then again, the taro pie. On the previous post, I have bought this and didn't eat it instead of giving to my mom. So today, I ordered it again. Actually, Taro pie had been out before, I think it was 2 years ago and I have tasted it. If I remembered, I pretty like...
