Lately, i've been seeing some youtubers eating Samyang's new product "Jjajangmyun". So. i try to search for such product and in the end i couldn't find it. It seems that the new product haven't introduce in M'sia or at least not in my area. Despite, there aren't sell suc product yet, so i try to look some 'special' instant noodle.
And look what i found! Same company, Samyung but the 'Mala' version. Haven't heard it before nor see it any where. Thus, i buy it and try.
Same as other, it come with sauce and the flakes.
The noodle is the same, nothing particular.
After following all that instruction, add some extra FRESH bak choy and soft boil egg. And wala! Delicious little bowl of ramen is waiting to stuff inside my stomach.
Of course, when trying new food, always eat the main first, try how the original taste then only mix with the side dish. My thought on this, well, yeah, the noodle is spicy, hella spicy, but didn't feel much about the 'Ma'(means the numb feels) yet it is only 'La'(means spicy). Just the taste of the original. Other than that, it just "Meh".
Within all the flavor in Samyang instant noodles, I personally likes the curry. It does taste like the Japanese curry but with a lot more spicy. The cheese one, not really taste much cheese though. So, not really worth to buy (if there is a price gap). I rather buy the original then put my own cheese in it. Last but not least , the Carbonara kinda surprise me. It taste so creamy, and yet spicy at the same. It does bring how the taste of carbonara is. If you are the fan of it, definitely recommend it.
Overall:
Spicy: 10/10
Repurchase: Maybe no.
