Crinkle Top Fudge Brownie / Chocolate Brownies Kedut

It's been a while to make a such fudgy, chocolatey cake. Sometimes, Tasty video pops out their brownie video on Youtube out of nowhere.  Then, I tried to follow the recipe 'by half' (since the portion is quite too much for me) and... it was a fail. Maybe I should follow the exact recipe huh. I tried a few recipes before, all of them failed. They turn out cake like and not even a fudge or crack brownie.  As I keep on trying on modifying the recipe. And today, I can say I succeed? I guess?  There is crack, very fudgy but still a bit cake like. But overall I am satisfied.  Ingredients: 185g dark chocolate compound 100g salted butter 120g brown sugar 30g castor sugar 2 eggs 80g all-purpose flour 25g cocoa powder 1tsp coffee powder + 1tsp hot water (optional) Steps: 1. Preheat oven to 180 °C.  2. Use double boiler method to melt the dark chocolate compound + butter. Set aside. 3.Mixe both s...

Frying Pan Cake Log [Cooking Alone]

Is CHRISTMAS TIME!!! Although I'm celebrating with myself. Maybe not 'celebrating', it just me who has a sweet tooth and eager to crave some dessert. And, I am lazy to bake a cake as it just me who eat it and using a big oven for just a small cake. Waste electricity. Therefore, I came out this idea which, not using the oven but frying pan to do so. You know, like a fluffy pancake. I am sure somewhere out there, there is someone already know how to make a cake out of a frying pan. I could use their references. Nonetheless, let's start making this.  Ingredients: 1 egg yolk 1tsp vegetable oil 1tbsp milk 3tbsp low flour 1/2tsp matcha powder 1 egg white 3tbsp granulated sugar Steps: 1. Prepare aluminum foil and parchment paper on the frying pan. (Avoid sticking) *Not sure the aluminum is necessary but... I don't know, experiment right?? Hee...   2. Mix the oil to the yolk, then the milk. 3. Sift in the flou...

Korean Sriracha Ramen from Samyang

My Samyang Ramen is out of stock, so i decided to go out to look any new or something that i would like to try it out. Especially in choose instant noodle, i really appreciate if the store could sell the package individually. My intention is just to test out the noodles, how would it taste like. But if you buy 5 noodles in 1 package that would be a lot for me. What if i don't like it. Wouldn't it be a waste with the rest of it? By anyhow i still buy it. Whenever you eat spicy food, be sure eat vegetables!!!  It does help to reduce some heat. From the package, you can see it rated 2/5 spiciness. But for me, it was like 3/5 spiciness.  Look at that red hot pepper chili sauce.  It taste almost the same with the Samyang spicy ramen, but added i hint of sourness of it.  Other than that, nothing special. As my preference, i like the Samyang spicy ramen more than this. The sauce in samyang spicy ramen has the sweet and spicy taste to it. The so...

Samyang Spicy Almond

Just a short diary that i saw and bought a pack of spicy almond from Samyang's brand. Once you open the packet, you definitely can see it is sure spicy as the red sauce cover all over the almond and the most importantly, the smell of the Samyang's specialty spicy sauce. Don't you look down on this almond. It is spicy and sweet, and nutty. The original sauce is really really good. Imagine that the sauce cover in noodle and it make it so yummy and spicy. Then to this nutty almond, it was like a further step leveling up to your taste bud. It taste so good!!! But, looking at the price, i'm may not purchase another one in a short while. The price is almost the same price as the noodle which is quite expensive to my opinion.  Overall: Taste: 10/10 Spiciness: 9/10 Repurchase: 50%
